| Title 10 Insurance, Article 3 Regulation of Insurance Companies/ Part 13 Model Quality Replacement Parts Act | Disclosure and Part Identification | Repair shops must disclose to the customer that the estimate was prepared based on the use of one or more crash parts supplied by a source other than the manufacturer of the motor vehicle and that the warranties applicable to the parts are provided by the parts manufacturer. Any non-OEM replacement parts must have the name or trademark of the manufacturer affixed or inscribed on the parts such that it is visible after installation when practicable. |
