Georgia Requirements Regulations
Title 33 Insurance, Article 6 Regulate Trade Practices in the Business of Insurance/ Section 5 Unfair Methods of Competition and Unfair and Deceptive Acts or Practices in the Business of Insurance Disclosure and Part Identification Repair shop must disclose to the customer that the estimate was based on the use of aftermarket crash parts supplied by a source other than the manufacturer of the vehicle and that the aftermarket parts used are warranted by the manufacturer of the part. Any non-OEM parts must have affixed to or inscribed on the parts the logo, identification number, or name such that it is visible after the installation of the parts.
