Massachusetts Requirements Regulations
Title 14 Public Ways and Works/ Chapter 90 Motor Vehicles and Aircraft/ Part 1 Administration of the Government/ Section 34O and Section 34R Disclosure Insurer or repairer must prepare a written estimate of the cost of repairs to the vehicle which will clearly identify each major replacement crash part to be used which is not manufactured or supplied by the original manufacturer of the vehicle. Warranties applicable to the replacement parts are provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the part rather than the auto manufacturer.
