Title 63 Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations/ Chapter 27 Disclosure of use of non-original replacement parts Disclosure and Part Identification Repair shop must disclose to the customer that the estimate was prepared based on the use of aftermarket crash parts supplied by a source other than the manufacturer of the vehicle and that any warranties that apply to the parts are provided by the manufacturer of the part. All non-original equipment must have affixed to or inscribed on it the logo, identification number, or name of its manufacturer such that it is visible after installation whenever practicable.
